Application of Nanometer Zirconium Carbide
Nano-zirconium carbide used in the new thermostat thermostat textiles, zirconium carbide has a highly efficient absorption of visible light reflected infrared characteristics. When it absorbs 95% of the short wavelength energy of 2 μm or less in sunlight, energy is stored in the material by thermal conversion. It also has a characteristic of reflecting infrared wavelengths exceeding 2 m. The human body produces infrared wavelengths of about 10μm or so, when people wear with nano-zirconia textile clothing, the human body will not be easily distributed out of infrared. This shows that zirconium carbide has the ideal endothermic, heat storage characteristics, can be applied to the new thermostat thermostat textiles.
